美國國歌叫什么?

美國國歌叫《星條旗永不落》。美國國歌為星條旗之歌（The Star-Spangled Banner），但由于種種原因在中國現(xiàn)在經(jīng)常被譯作《星條旗永不落》。雖然這種譯法使該曲與美國國家進行曲《星條旗永不落》（The Star and Stripes Forever）重名，并且與英文原意不符，但該譯法的使用依然相當廣泛。該曲由美國律師弗朗西斯·斯科特·基(Francis Scott Key)作詞，美國作曲家約翰·斯塔福德·史密斯（John Stafford Smith）作曲。

雖然有四組歌詞，但實際上幾乎只唱第一組歌詞，不唱其他歌詞，尤其是第三組帶有反英情緒的歌詞。

　　Oh, say can you see? by the dawn's early light,
　　What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
　　Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
　　O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

　　As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
　　Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
　　In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
　　'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
　　O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

　　And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
　　That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
　　A home and a country should leave us no more!
　　Their blood has washed out of of their foul footsteps' pollution.
　　No refuge could save the hireling and slave'
　　From the terror of flight and the gloom of the grave:
　　And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
　　O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

　　Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
　　Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
　　Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
　　Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
　　Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
　　And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
　　And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave

　　都到哪里去了，信誓旦旦的人們？
　　他們向往的是能在戰(zhàn)爭中幸存，
　　家鄉(xiāng)和祖國，不要拋棄我們。
　　他們自己用血，洗清骯臟的腳印。
　　那些奴才、傭兵，沒有地方藏身，
　　逃脫不了失敗和死亡的命運。
　　但是星條旗卻將要永遠飄揚
　　在這自由國家，勇士的家鄉(xiāng)。
　　IV.
　　玉碎還是瓦全，擺在我們面前，
　　自由人將奮起保衛(wèi)國旗長招展。
　　祖國自有天相，勝利和平在望；
　　建國家，保家鄉(xiāng)，感謝上帝的力量。
　　我們一定得勝，正義屬于我方，
　　“我們信賴上帝，”此語永矢不忘。
　　你看星條旗將永遠高高飄揚
　　在這自由國家，勇士的家鄉(xiāng)。
